Sunusi Shehu was a trained educationist that turned into writing for both television and movies with flair for being a films and writings critique. Also, he has two of earliest Hausa entertainment Magazines.
Sunusi, was credited with naming the Hausa Film Industry ‘Kannywood’ in one of his writings in the magazine which he was an editor/publisher of TAURARUWA and SHIRIN FIM Magazines that were enterprises with alot of potentials.
As a writer, he has published four books out of which two are instructional books. Thus, it is no wonder that Sunusi Shehu has his writings in the then magazine. The industry has now turned out to be a large entity. He has earned a lot of awards in the course of his illustrious career as a writer.
